I think that this is the case of a very successfull director who was given his complete way and that results in a movie that isn't cut to the best length. But this is an excellent movie which is a lot of fun...until the end when you are rooting for Kong who dies.

Seriously, I'm looking forward to the movie. I have a lot of respect for Peter Jackson. Now if Speilberg had made the movie, I'd wait till it went to tape and I was bored.
