Yeah. It's funny to see some of those old sets and hear about the problems you folks are having with them. Like I said they bring back the memories. Every now and again my father and I swap stories about customers we had. Someone on this site posted about a "curved" chroma II, which I remember one customer had. Also recall a 13" Zenith that was covered in denim as well as a 23" Chroma 1 that had a chrome metal cabinet. We still call that one "chrome dome". Only saw 2 of them over the years. Good laughs, good memories. Then again that is why I'm into the old All American 5 tube radios: They have a cool smell, a nice warm glow and bring back good memories. Then again it was nice when working on them as you don't have to worry about blowing out an entire circuit if you slip with a probe!!
