Its a Philco 48-1001 not J001. Large heavy 10" table top. Philco made many models in 1948. It seems more common today then the 48-1000. Anyone know why? I've heard that people preferred or salesman pushed a plain cabinet so they would watch what was on the TV versus looking at the TV set itself? Look at
