Hey! Thought of another stupid question!
Okay, so when I go shopping for new tube sockets: are all tubes with a given number of pins the same size? Should I take the tubes with me to the store?
I thought the tubes had 8 pins, but all the sockets I saw were octals, and they didn't look right. Maybe the tubes have 9 pins. Or seven. The sizes are mostly 6Gsomething.
