I did a little online shopping for replacement tube sockets. Since the original ones were apparently burned to a crisp, I guess the new ones should be ceramic? Or does it really matter?
I also came across something called a "socket saver". What is this, and do I need one? It was about 8 bucks, as compared to like a buck and change for the sockets themselves.
