Camcorders, oh what a pain! It seems like almost all of these things from the 80's and early 90's are dead because of bad caps. The old tube type home video cameras from the 70's and early 80's seem to be more durable though.
Was lucky enough to get a 1995 RCA VHS unit from the Goodwill which actually still works...it has a very small color viewfinder which is probably an LCD.
