It's an obsession brought on by being severely nearsighted since very young, and having glasses even before kindergarten, and not always the best ones or with lenses that correct for chromatic aberration most of my life, it annoys me a LOT!
Thus I notice slight convergence errors that most don't.
And Les Chants magnétiques is a nod to one of my favorite composers.
