Several threads in the past have mentioned the Elmencos and the necessity for replacement. I think needing to change them out depends on their physical condition and if the set is high hours or not. I have the same chassis Porta as
Luke Simon, and the white caps in those were oozing and needed to be replaced, esp since HV was poor. I also have a low hours H3 chassis which did not necessitate replacement - would be good to be proactive and just replace them, but it becomes a question of if you want the set to remain 100% original.
My HE chassis PC, however has bigger problems, in the AGC...Whole other ballgame...
