My metal table set has the front CRT mounting. Part of me hoped that dopey scheme was a table set only design for compactness... It's too bad the consoles have it too.
Moto did partially make up for it by placing the convergence panel on the front behind the speaker
....any set with front convergence adjustment is was atleast partially designed with the tech in mind in my book.
