I haven't seen one of these since I was in my 20s. My recollection is that these were horrible performers even when new, and we wouldn't take any on trade. The grey scale would change with scene content (not brightness or contrast) and would sometimes have grey scale shifts *within* the frame, ie the top and bottom might be red and the middle green - sort of like bad purity but it would shift constantly with scene content. AGC action was odd and contrast would also change with black level, like the old TVs without keyed AGC. These were one of those models where the later replacement solid state units totally transformed the TV.
