Its probably best to start by repairing the set before going crazy
with a full restore. Having a nice snow picture is a good start.
Shows that it wants to work & most stages are working still.
Hook up the DVD & put up screen shots of any symptoms. The
gang here will help out best they can.
Also whenever you ask questions put in the chassis number
(starts with KCS***) & model ##. You will have fun showing
off a 60 yr old set that comes from a time when things were
built to last a LONG time
