So.. the backstory and some thank you's! This is the same model set that I grew up with. ( until my parents got color in 1971, a used RCA CTC-19 mini-console) Anyway, Doug Harland found it at an estate sale, and gave it to me. My friends Ben & Cory, picked it up, and dropped it off in Omaha, when they were up in January. The set arrived DOA. Finally got it to my friend Walter Beers, who does repairs. (my soldering skills SUCK). Set had a bad circuit breaker AND a bad on-off switch. I had an NOS breaker, and called Moyers for the switch. *RCA part 118552. Luckily they had 1 available, altho it was a tad pricey. Anyway.. am quite happy! Thanks Again to ALL who helped me get it.

Those RCA's were good performers and very reliable. The only big failure items, were the yokes.
Regarding soldering skills:" Practice makes perfect" There's a few books out there, that explain it pretty well.
Try practice soldering on something, you don't care too much about and you'll get better.
