I think cats rarely pay attention to the saying "never bite the hand that feeds you". Or in Garfield's case "It's not wise to rub out the hand that feeds you", which the apparently modern tech-hating cat wasn't paying attention to.

I knew a couple with a short-haired male tuxedo cat originally called "Boozle", which I think was due to the half-asleep, had-a-few-beers-in-him look that was always on his face. He was quite heavy on the lap, and liked to head-butt. The owners often nicknamed their cats; he eventually got "Diger".
