Wow Jeff....I almost forgot that about Dick Clark. I do remember seeing him on the Time's Square countdown a few years ago and being quite alarmed by his condition, and how he was THERE and sticking it out like a trooper. I would rather listen to an angle grinder for three hours than Ryan Seacrest, so I have not watched the "Rockin Eve" countdown in a LONG time. I do remember him coming on in I think 2006 or so and explaining he had a stroke, but was getting better and he wasn't going to let that stop him from being there.
This was the first time I saw the CNN one I think. It seemed like Anderson Cooper was BABYSITTING whoever that girl is that was on with him. I don't watch CNN really unless something big is happening.
