That was a good chassis design which ran for several years. I have an 8T-243 that I have posted tying to find a home for, and also a later TC-127 that I restored and love. They both have the same chassis, but the 127 to me is a much better looking set with a double-D crt mask and nice wood. I was going to restore the 243, but I really don't like 40s sets OR the way they mounted the crt in those early RCAs.
