I also retried the original cap. Due to the sets chassis design I did put some pressure on wiring when I put the new high voltage rectifier in place and I put an ohm meter on those to make sure I did not pull one lose. Found one I did damage, fixed that and still......horizontal bright line on screen and red plated vert. tube.
