So a 4x3 screen 17" high would be about 22" wide or about 27" diagonal, so my guess is that the screen is a flat 27" CRT. The color is a puzzle, because these sets (as well as flat panels) would have been tinted very dark to minimize reflections... the screen in the mystery set appears to be fairly light.
