I agree. Leave it alone and watch it.
And, you did the right thing by leaving the other two. Zenith's from that era were junk (bad CRT's, cheap build quality, etc). JVC's were OK; but, I've seen a few early 2000's models with weak CRT's.
The biggest problem with those RCA's was bad tuner shield ground connections. It's probably been repaired for that problem; so, if it works, leave it alone.
