I'll add that the build quality of most 12" B&W TV's started going down by the early '80's and, by the late '80's, build quality had really taken a fall. I've got an '86-'87 Magnavox that's a piece of junk in terms of quality. Many years ago, I had another Magnavox 12" set from the late '70's and it was a very solid set.
