My unit is square in cross section, with an upward-firing speaker on top. The CRT is in the bottom half, on a slight upward angle. Power button is a round pushbutton on top, next to the speaker.
Some of the controls (tuning, tone) seem to have become disconnected from the rest of the internals and don't work. I had to laugh, because the radio is semi-permanently tuned to my local jazz station.
