Well, that's cool...I NEVER plug ANY of my stuff in unless I'm wanting to actually use it...Had a direct lightning strike summer Y2K that took out my Yammy CA-2010, CT-1010, B&O TT, JRC NRD-535D shortwave set, & a MINT Panasonic CT-3311, so I kinda learnt my lesson the HARD way...
