I just picked up this Leader 17A. The price was reasonable due to cabinet damage. It's not vintage, but I really like the small size and light weight.
I'm happy to say it works just fine
The dial is calibrated quite accurately too. I would not want to attempt repairing the surface mount PC board.
The only thing I don't like about it is the banana output jacks. I'd prefer BNC. A vernier drive frequency knob would be nice too.
I couldn't find a manual for it, but then I discovered that the
B&K 2005B is identical.
