Re: The horizontal tube in the fiberjet, it was a 21EX6, made by Raytheon. Can use a 25CD6 as a sub. On that non-UHF motorola, the large clear knob was the volume control. On the same UHF model , that was the location for the UHF tuner. The volume knob was located below the speaker.
