I am glad to know the price is way too high. I was thinking it might be based on availability of other great B/W sets. I think many sellers who ask high prices would eventually take a very low price if one were to communicate and befriend them to avoid the set going to the trash as I suspect many that don't sell do.
I wonder if that is a chassis that has those funky plug in cap/resistor assembies covered in brownish paint to make it hard to repair them? I have a couple that came in a Quasar repair box I bought
