What i mean by the speakers seam to work is that i tested them on something else and they do work. i should have been more clear.
The tuner and amp are both separate.
The phono does work, i just need to disassemble it and grease it properly.
Yes it is a remote set, and i forgot to mention that i do have the original Phantom remote.
I actually have this model's predecessor a 1962 tube unit in pristine condition and the sound it produces is beautiful, so just had a little guilt about possibly parting it out.
