I was 14 in 1970 and knew little to nothing about TV repair. My friend and I used to ride our bicycles back behind TV repair shops and dig through the dumpsters. Over a short period of time I amassed quite a large collection of 6GH8's. They always seemed to test ok in the testers at the drug stores.
