Save it, Absolutely!!
May not mean much to you now but I guarantee in the future some collector may value that more than the set itself! There are probably 1000 TV's like that for every Box.
I picked up this same set at Salvation Army for $20 (no packaging or accessories at all), that was a fluke, the $129 you paid is more realistic.
If you don't want your packaging I'll be glad to take it off your hands.
