Can you stand the chassis behind the cabinet and scoot it close enough to hook things up?
Or, perhaps you can slide it partway out and still make connections. In this case, I only had to extend the speaker leads.
In another case, I temporarily soldered wires to test points and ran them out to where I could access them when the chassis was fully installed.
Just some ideas . . .
