Just to help those who may need a Zener, the following are "standard" types of various wattage Zener Diodes:
1N5221-1N5281: 500mW Zener Diodes("A" and "B" suffix are improved types)
1N4728-1N4764: 1 Watt Zener Diodes ("A" suffix is improved 5% type)
1N5333B thru 1N5388B: 5 Watt Zener Diodes
The voltage ranges of the above series of diodes pretty much covers any Zeners we may find in sets. Surface Mount types are made by Fairchild, and have a prefix that varies depending on the package type (2 lead, MELF, three lead, etc).
