Go get it and store it for the day you can be a glass HDTV historian. It should be very happy playing Blu-ray. I have the 960 version with the built-in tuner and watching Boise St on their bizarre blue turf field.
And in my historic storage is my ballpark's first plasma. A Sony 50" from 1999. All $12,000 worth when new. Maybe $500 now. Same 200 pounds.
