Your television model must be listed below: KV-1215 KV-1484P KV-1712D KV-1946R KV-2156R
KV-1216 KV-1513 KV-1713 KV-1955R KV-2182P
KV-1217 KV-1515 KV-1743R KV-1967RWP KV-2184P
KV-1221R KV-1541R KV-1746R KV-1982AEB KV-21VX1P
KV-1332 KV-1542R KV-1920D KV-2073R KV-25XBR
KV-1356R KV-1543R KV-1921 KV-2092AEB KV-27VX1P
KV-1370R KV-1545R KV-1922 KV-20XBR KV-27VX1PH
KV-1380R KV-1546R KV-1941R KV-2101 KV-9300
KV-1424RD KV-1554RWP KV-1942R KV-2142R KX-1901
KV-1442AEB KV-1712C KV-1943R KV-2145R
Other than being PX-sold models, this list includes most of the Sony sets I have ever owned (at least three I can see), or wanted to own.

If someone wanted to try to determine the bad part(s), I notice the KV-20XBR and KV-25XBR are both on the list, and the KX-1901 is there but the KX-2501 (and the KX-1901A/KX-2501A) are not. Also, none of the early 26" sets are on the list. The 27VX1 on the list is probably really a 25" set as sold in other countries where they could get away with counting the CRT dimension as the "screen size" still.
