Gee, I donno, Bill... I kinda like the way it is. That's a testimonial there. I'll bet you'd be much happier with it if you just re-flow the lacquer a little. I remember an ad for Western Electric years ago. One of their plastic desk phones went through a fire, and was all melted & black. *But*, when they lifted the receiver, dial tone could be heard!
