Gentlemen: I have several small screen color sets with the idea of building a convertor inside. I dont think the voltage exceeds 12 volts. I purposely bought one that ran off a wall wart. I returned it because was not very sensitive. One set I have has a battery compartment. I'll keep you posted. Dave
