There are a ton of good deals on CRT sets these days.
Last weekend I was at Goodwill and they had gobs of CRT sets, including good brand names from 36" down and I don't think any were over $60
The Salvation Army is even starting to get some earlier model widescreen HDTV's
They had a Mitsubishi last week and this week it was an RCA, both were 1080 capable, the RCA for sure had an HDMI connector so it wasn't too ancient.
