That's a beautiful set, and I'm glad to hear you got it going! Looks like a copper-plated chassis like the one in my 42 Admiral console. I think the bakelite and the gold trim look really nice on these televisions.
Here's a random observation... the Admiral logo was done in such a nice, cursive style on things of this vintage and older. Frigidaire had a similar logo and has never dared to change it. I rather wish Admiral had done the same.
