I have a Princess model, and the dope on the flyback is all cracked up (but still works). One of these days I'll go in there to fill in the cracks with silicon. Being that the HV cage is so cramped, it's a pain in the butt to work with. Actually, that can be said about the entire chassis.
I am not home to look in mine, so this is just a guess... Isn't that the socket where the deflection yoke plugs in? I do remember that something does plug in there.
