I just thought of one more question I need to ask. Both picture tubes I have are covered with a heavy coating of dust on the metal cone. Will it harm the tube in any way to take a soft damp cloth and wipe the metal cone down? Is there any coating that I might be taking off by using a soft damp cloth?
