I saw that movie on Channel 5 here back when it was Metromedia, not Fox. I honestly cannot recall if it was an afternoon flick or a late show. In any case, I loved it. I was around 14 at the time and was mesmerized by the psychedelic 60s.
I have not seen it since, but there are others in that "genre". 60s surf, biker and head movies are great snapshots from another time.
Wasn't it Strawberry Alarm Clock doing the soundtrack and also appearing in the movie.
