I like the switch back to slicks but I don't like the rule dictating use of both soft and hard compounds during the race. KERS is gimmicky. Anyways, F1 is getting closer to the showmanship of American racing.
I like all the new rules changes. It makes things unpredictible and a lot more exciting. Will it level the playing field like in NASCAR?Not a chance. Not with teams like Ferrari and McClaren with up to half a billion dollar budgets(wether the rules say you can spend it or not).Multiple tire compounds?Hey,anything that adds strategy to the race is all fine by me.Remember when F1 didnt even have pit stops, and they would have enough fuel for the whole race?A year watching Mansell in CART convinced them that added variables is a good thing for the fans.Im glad the days of active suspensions,no pit stops, and turbos are gone for good.
