As DuMonts go that one is pretty generic. Looks like an early - mid 50's 21" model, as long as the CRT is good it should be fixable.
The mist is probably Tar from Cigs, very common on sets from that era.
$50 is a reasonable price if everything's there and in decent shape, well $50 American, I'm not sure what the exchange rate is now?
