Please keep in mind that there are very dangerous voltages inside the TV....if you are not familiar with TV high voltage safety precautions the job may better be left to someone more experienced.

Thank you. I could only visualize or imagine this like a leaky cap in audio. As I stated my specific knowledge is limited, and I don't pretend otherwise. I do not know what ESR stands for. Also, could someone guide me to information regarding the discharge of high voltage circuits. I am disabled with a bad back and have time to study, read, and learn. I will post the chassis # as soon as I am able. Thank you again for your response.
