That was probably the best solid state chassis that GE built. The main things that fail are a 100 uf cap in the vertical circuit, a 100 uf cap by the flyback, and a cap (think it's something like a 4.7uf) in the B+ line to the video output circuit. When this cap fails, the screen will be darker on one side and the picture will be smeary. Some of these would have a burned horizontal centering pot and a shorted HOT, all caused by the 100 uf cap by the flyback.
