Nice set Anthony! My brain is a little foggy yet this morning, so I will post more later, but for now..... Your set has the "good" cap which means the service man did the recall procedure. Orange cap is good, white cap is bad. The set IS a Chromacolor 2 chassis. I'm pretty sure with that picture tube number it's a 23" set. Chromacolor's are great sets when working, but have noticed that they either seem to work fine, or have tons of minor problems that take awhile to correct.(there seems to be no in-between) I would start with carefully removing each module and replacing them firmly. Clean the pins if you notice any carbon build-up. In most cases that corrects alot of the problems. The module design is a weak point on this chassis. As for the fine tuning..... Are you tuning each station with the AFC button off? That is the correct way to do it, then when you have the best picture, you should be able to turn the AFC on and be fine. You could also have a bad 75/300 ohm adaptor. I've had that problem before on a few sets. Also, after you try re-installing the modules, if you still have specific symptoms it's pretty cut and dry on which modules will need to be repaired or replaced, just look on the schematic and it will tell you which function they control. I have quite a few NOS modules, so if you want, post a list of the ones your set uses and I will give you any that you may need. OH!! and last.... The module that has the "HOT" section on it. Do NOT get near that one with the set on! You'll get quite a zap.
