I just got done working my night shift and came home to find it on AMC also it is one of my favorites as well!
But since I have it on DVD its far better of course than my cable connection so I broke out my DVD. I use to have it on the old laser disc as well.
Another favorite of mine is Squadron 633 with Cliff Robertson around the same Vintage which I couldn't find the other day. I think you might enjoy!
Anyway I second The Guns of Navarone as an all time classic!
And don't forget the sequel to the Guns of Navarone, Force 10 from Navarone with Harrison Ford and Robert Shaw and others!
