That's a nice option to get live and expanded coverage. I used to enjoy watching expanded coverage on a Canadian network channel but I just have the basic cable tv package now.
Another option - I just checked the nbcolympics.com site and they have some great on-demand video available. Looks like entire events are available, not just highlight clips. I'm watching the US Womens Basketball game with the Czech Republic, Sue Bird is running the point for the US. The 1/4 screen video is working really well, seamlessly actually, over my meager DSL / wireless connection on my laptop.
