Interesting catch. I know whem ym maternal grandmother passed away, she told me when that time came, I could have her early 1960's RCA set. I figure it was made around 1961/62, it had no UHF tuner. Alas, I didn't get it, don't know what happened.
Still would have made a nice room TV, with digital coming, the converter box would take care of the lack of UHF.
I remember watching shows like "MASH," "All in the Family," "Chico and the Man," and so on with her when I was a kid.
