One of my prized possessions, which I feel is still better than the DVD in terms of included extras is the Boxed Autographed Laserdisc Edition which includes a neat insert, huge book entitled "Robert Wise on his films: From Editing room to Director's chair" about his career and a 24K gold CD of the film's score. Remaking this movie would be a sin. Can't Hollywood come up with anything original anymore. By the way I think the original film is great.
