The German of the German text is of very bad style. It is hard to translate. I have tried a translation. I hope my English is better than the German of this German text:

> You are bidding on a rare original tv set, made by the brand Loewe
> Opta (Opta Spezial G.m.b.H. Düsseldorf) , Type 9153 GW Rheingold.
> Loewe is wellknown for their numerous radios in 1940-1960 .
> The cabinet, which houses the chassis, is made of original walnut
> veneer. Some sites have light whiteness, and there are some small
> flakings of the veneer. The front glass / plexiglass is nearly new, of
> course original. The cabinet is placed onto four metal wheels. The
> power cord was cut. Therefore the set could not be powered on.
> The inside looks absolutely complete.
>
> The dimensions of the Loewe/Opta:
>
> Height: ca. 106.5 cm
> Width: ca. 64 cm
> Depth: ca. 65 cm
>
> A cabinet / collector's piece for lovers, for tinkerers, collectors, for
> the museum and, and, and...
>
> Happy bidding!
>
> Collection in person or courier service which the buyer may organise.
> Pick up in Gladbeck. Westfalia.
> Item is sold as a tinkerers object since no functional test is possible.
> Private auction.

BTW: here are some auctions which are of more interest:

- MARCONIPHONE PRE-WAR, MIRROR LID TELEVISION, MODEL 702, Item number: 170239779870
- Russischer Farbfernseher RUBIN 401BG, Item number 300243336034

I hope that I can win the Rubin Russian color tv set. It has 20 tubes, and the 59LK3Z.

- Eckhard
