they are indeed made to be metrosexual men..
men who keep fit, and often shave all body hair except their privates. this is what is the "in" thing for men today. They in a sense fill the gap between gay men and straight men.. but are usually straight.

but you are right.. more and more of the TV shows feature metrosexual men these days. The trend started a few years ago.
