Outside of a collector or a restorer, I doubt a lot of people still use an all tube TV in their day to day watching.

For however reliable tube TV's became before solid state became the norm, tubes still get weak and fail fairly quickly. In order to keep the set a daily watcher, its owner would have to at the very least know how to replace the tubes inside it. I'm sure it would eventually need recapping as well. A well made solid state TV may run for a decade or more with no maintainence.
